Do you remember going on nature walks as a child? I must admit that I still relish walking through the woods and just marveling at the natural world. We did that today. It was a day for chasing (or at least watching) squirrels and a few birds.
The weather is beautiful, and it's a great way to pass the hours and build some special memories. Pick up leaves. Talk about acorns. Chase squirrels. Just be caught up in the wonder of it all. And...if you've got a little one whose signing, now's a great time to add squirrel to your signing vocabulary because they are out in droves and nothing inspires signing from little ones like a live animal.
